Visit Kineret at its dedicated homepage.
Kineret is a software tool for analysis of quantitative PCR data. The name Kineret comes from the original name of the See of Galielee (Kinnereth), the first location of our company.
Kineret was developed to fit the most up-to-date requirements for gene expression studies, employing techniques such as:
Correction for amplification efficiency
Inter-run calibration
Normalization with single or multiple internal reference gene
Quality control of individual reactions based on reaction kinetics
Kineret is modular software. This means that individual computations are conducted as specified modules launched by user. However the entire analysis workflow is smooth, consisting of few tasks only:
Import of data
Allocation of individual qPCR wells into functional and experimental groups
Quality control (KOD)
Expression ratio analysis (ERA)
New computational methods may be implemented with the time. Nevertheless, the above mentioned modular structure will be maintained. While building Kineret, intuitive and easy to use interface was the main focus of our programming team. Kineret was built such, that after one guided sessions you should be able to run it without any help.
